The Yorkshire Dales

Beyond the Northern Lake District lies the Yorkshire Dales, an area renowned for its culture and historic countryside. This area is very much an upland area with breathtaking valley views and incredible hilltop walks. Towns such as Kirkby Lonsdale and Sedbergh are in the Yorkshire Dales National Park but still located in Cumbria. The area is also home to the beautiful Lune Valley which hosts many events throughout the year.
